We recommend exporting the project as a backup prior to doing any of the changes described below
To replace a taxonomy, its replacement must first be added to the project configuration. To do so, select the desired taxonomy in the Available taxonomies list, located on the left-hand side of the Taxonomy tab in the Project configuration dialog, by left-clicking it and then click the Add button. The taxonomy will now appear in the Selected taxonomies list on the right-hand side of the Taxonomy tab.
Next, navigate to
After that the tab fact collections has to be opened. By double clicking on the row of the desired collection of facts it is opened for editing. In the "taxonomy" column can now the previously added taxonomy be selected.
Click Save, to start the taxonomy replacement process.
Depending on the amount of data that needs to be processed, the replacement may take several minutes
If data for the new Taxonomieversion could not be applied, a report is displayed, describing the individual effects.
After the taxonomy replacement process has been completed, the old taxonomy should be removed from the project. To do so, select the old taxonomy in the Selected taxonomies list, located on the right-hand side of the Taxonomy tab in the Project configuration dialog, by left-clicking it and then click the Remove button. The taxonomy will now appear in the Avaiable taxonomies list on the left-hand side of the Taxonomy tab. Click Save, to apply the change.
