With the project export function, Project export allows preserving the current project can be saved outside of the report Factorye and with the project import a project can be revert back outside of ReportFactory© Tagging tool. Project import allows for a project to be reverted to a previous state or to be imported under a new project name.

Project export
With the menu function “Export Project” the export dialog can be accessed. The user has to be administrator of the project to export a project.
The export dialog shows a multiline interface. Here you can insert a description of the export.
Additionally, two save options are shown:
- Leave on server : If the checkbox is hooked the export is placed on a server directory
- Download local copy: If that checkbox is hooked, the export is downloaded to a local directory.
By pressing “export” the export process is started.Project administrators can export a project by clicking Save as | Export file in the Project section of the ribbon\Project menu
In the Project export dialog that will appear, you can provide the description for the exported project (this is mandatory) and decide if you want to save the project file in the server's export directory, by selecting the Leave on server option or if you want to download the project file to your computer by selecting the Download local copy option
Click Export to start the export process
Project import
By clicking on “Import Project” in the main menu, the import dialog is opened.
