Perform a replacement
The ReportFactory offers the opportunity to change the taxonomy of a fact collection, with acquisition of compatible data.

Starting from the HGB taxonomy version 5.0 it is possible to change the taxonomies with newer versions. Hereby the maintenance of a variant (core industries, banks, insurance companies) is necessary, for example, Replacing the HGB Kerntaxonomie 5.0 with the HGB Kerntaxonomie 5.1. |
Perform a replacement
To replace the taxonomy the project configuration has to be opened (tab taxonomy). By clicking in the left box on the line with the desired target taxonomy ,this is selected and added by pressing the "Add" button to the available taxonomies in the project.
After that the tab fact collections has to be opened. By double clicking on the row of the desired collection of facts it is opened for editing. In the "taxonomy" column can now the previously added taxonomy be selected.
By pressing save, the exchange process is started.

To replace a taxonomy, its replacement must first be added to the project configuration. To do so, select the desired taxonomy in the Available taxonomies list, located on the left-hand side of the Taxonomy tab in the Project configuration dialog, by left-clicking it and then click the Add button. The taxonomy will now appear in the Selected taxonomies list on the right-hand side of the Taxonomy tab.
Next, navigate to the Fact collections tab, select the appropriate fact collection row and double click it ad select the previously added taxonomy from the dropdown that will appear.
Click Save, to start the taxonomy replacement process.

If any errors occur during the taxonomy replacement process and the new taxonomy could not be applied successfully, a report is displayed, describing the individual effectsthe particular details of the encountered issues.
After the taxonomy changereplacement process has been completed, the old taxonomy has to should be removed from the project. For this, go the project configuration and open the tab "taxonomies" again. In the right box the old taxonomy must be selected and by clicking the "Remove" button it is removed from the project. By pressing the "Save" button, the change is adopted. To do so, select the old taxonomy in the Selected taxonomies list, located on the right-hand side of the Taxonomy tab in the Project configuration dialog, by left-clicking it and then click the Remove button. The taxonomy will now appear in the Avaiable taxonomies list on the left-hand side of the Taxonomy tab. Click Save, to apply the change.
